Growing up in Adelaide has had a huge impact on Hugh Sullivan’s work. During his short career, he’s completed micro-docs on the Adelaide Oval and South Australian Maritime Museum, working on an ABC cross-media series with the South Australian Film Commission and making his SOYA- nominated short film, Man Janson. Post-SOYA Hugh has relocated to Sydney to attend the Australian Film Television & Radio School, using his prize money to cover the costs of his move while he focuses on his filmmaking. Armed with knowledge instilled by mentor Phillip Noyce, Hugh is on the right path, working on new projects and developing his skills as part of his AFTRS course.
