The event
The Pen World Voices Festival will take place on 2-4 May, 2012 at various venues throughout New York City. The program features readings, conversations, and panels with 100 international writers including, in 2011, poets Gioconda Belli and Wole Soyinka; fiction writers Deborah Eisenberg, Amélie Nothomb, Cynthia Ozick, and Elif Shafak; and creative nonfiction writer Adrian Nicole LeBlanc. Many events are free and open to the public.
