The Qantas Spirit Of Youth Awards are Australia’s leading grants program for new creative talent, helping young creative innovators to expand their horizons, build up their business base, and learn the ropes from leading industry figures and some of the greatest creative minds in the world. Now in its fifth year, SOYA recognises excellence and innovation in the arts, and gives young, talented Australians the financial and professional support they need to share their talents with the

world. Fashion designers, musicians, artists, visual communicators, object designers and filmmakers aged 30 and under are invited to enter their work for the chance to win $5,000 in cash, $5,000 in Qantas flights and mentorships with leading lights of the international creative community, which this year includes Vince Frost, legendary art director and Creative Director of Frost Design, John Polson, film director and founder of Tropfest, and photojournalist Stephen Dupont, in addition to continuing SOYA mentors Marc Newson, Elizabeth Ann Macgregor, and Peter Morrissey.
